Consumers are increasingly becoming aware of how interrelated supply chains and the environment are. In fact, according to the Environmental Defense Fund, more than 90% of the environmental impact of consumer goods happens in the supply chain.

I sat down with a couple of Chief Supply Officers at Fortune 500 companies including Gap, Inc., and Anheuser-Busch and a few experts to talk about why supply chain matters and what we, as educated consumers should know about the sustainability of our supply chain.
