
The heat is already rising off the jewel-coloured cars in front of the new Palm Springs Ritz Carlton and its not even 8.30am. Its September in the Coachella Valley and the summer heat is yet to release its vice-like grip. Before me are six V12 Vantage S Roadsters. Their tops are down, showing off their carbon fibre facias and metal accents like bikini-clad starlets sunning themselves with expensive gems glinting racily on their hands and necks. This is, after all, a Hollywood playground and the land of a million swimming pools.
