AUTOMOTIVE & TRANSPORTATION, AUTOWEEK

img_20161004_145313The cowboy isn’t dead. In today’s postmodern, constantly connected world, he still rides through rain, sleet and snow, burnt forest and windy pass, yipping and yawping to his mottled black herd as they meander down Old Yellowstone Road through narrow Hoback Canyon just outside of Jackson, Wyoming.

Skirting the edge of the swollen Snake River, a phalanx of dark blue and dark green 2017 Audi A4 Allroads wade carefully through the 200 head of cattle; cameras and phones hang out windows to capture the almost too-quaint moment in this land of no cell signal.

The cowboy isn’t dead — and neither is the wagon. The fantastic new 2017 Audi A4 Allroad proves it.
