At Cadillac’s CTS-V Academy in Pahrump, NV I learned how to handle a car at the limit.

In early June Peter and I headed out to the Nevada desert to get some schooling–racing schooling that is.

Cadillac offers a 1 or 2-day course on a private track in Parhump, NV located about an hour outside of Las Vegas. Spring Mountain Race Track offers beautiful desert vistas, and for around $3500 a day you can learn how to handle everything from CTS-Vs to Corvettes at the limit.

Peter and I spent the 106 degree day learning everything from how to find the right race line to how to heel-toe. It was a total blast.
